JBL FILM SB450 4K ULTRA HD WIRELESS SOUNDBAR WITH WIRELESS SUBWOOFER DETAILED OVERVIEW
4K is what you need if you want to invest in a new TV and don’t want to upgrade it in the next 5–7 years. If you are looking for a low-budget 4K TV, the audio output of this TV is probably not very good. If you want to purchase a pair of speakers or a sound bar, there are several options that offer you features such as 4K HDR switching, a wireless subwoofer, and sound that is worth appreciating. Today we have a JBL SB 450 film with us. It has three HDMI ports in 4K HDR increments, as well as an HDMI ARC port, many traditional connection options, and a wireless subwoofer. Is this the dream soundbar you were looking for?

CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN
To start with, the construction and design of the soundbar are very well constructed. It has a radiator grille that covers the front and protects the riders. The front is clean, simple and black, with the JBL logo in the center. There is no LED on the front panel to indicate the source or input, which is good because the LED indicator may distract some. Personally, I prefer it.
The soundbar has a partially cylindrical shape and a flat back. Of course, this is designed so that, if necessary, it can be easily fixed to the wall. The soundbar is really long and has a kind of advantage towards the end, which gives it a very dominant look. People will notice this sound bar under the TV or home entertainment system.
The sound bar also has 2 legs that serve as a stand. The height of these legs is adjustable and is a very good addition for those who do not want the soundbar to lie flat on the table. All connection options are hidden on the back of the sound bar. It has three HDMI inputs as well as an HDMI ARC port conveniently hidden in one corner, where the auxiliary input, optical input and power are in the other corner. In the center, there is a USB port, a subwoofer pairing button and a switch for mounting to a wall/table. Overall, the soundbar itself is well thought out, with a dominant presence that makes you feel like it’s serious.
When you get to the subwoofer, it’s huge. One look at a submarine and you know it’s going to blow the roof off (but more on that in the performance section). The subwoofer is wireless, which means there is no body connection between the soundbar and the subwoofer. It connects wirelessly when the soundbar and subwoofer are connected and turned on. There is a white indicator behind the subwoofer that flashes when a connection is detected and turns white when a connection is established. If the indicator is orange, it means that you are looking for a soundbar. There is a power button, a phase switch and a crossover button on the back of the subwoofer.
For those who don’t know, a crossover, as the name suggests, is the place where the frequency of the subwoofer and the soundbar crosses or “crosses” each other. If you make this transition correctly, you will get the perfect combination of subwoofer and speaker sound. In our experience, the perfect combination of sound frequency between the subwoofer and the band was to keep it on the underside. The subwoofer is tilted and has 4 rubber feet. We recommend keeping the subwoofer in the front corner of the room, about 15 inches away from the wall (on each side), to get the best experience. The subwoofer is made in the form of a reservoir; it is black and looks like what you will find in the bat cave.
When it comes to the body controls, they are all located at the top of the sound bar. It has a power button, an input source, virtual surround sound, volume up/down, Bluetooth, connection and sound change. The same controls, but a little more, can be found on the remote control. The buttons are small and I wish they were a little bigger.
Overall, the build quality of the soundbar and subwoofer is top-notch, considering the price.
